Today, the Government of India took a significant step towards ensuring the integrity of public exams and entrance tests by introducing a bill in the Lok Sabha. Dr. Jitendra Singh presented the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill, 2024, with the primary objective of tackling leaks and organized cheating in the examinations.The proposed bill suggests imposing a substantial penalty for leaking examination papers. Those found guilty could face a hefty fine of Rs. 1 Crore and a sentence of up to 10 years in jail.
